For me Avast is the best. It is free and it performs like those top-notch anti-virus. Sometimes I think it is better than Norton and MacCaffee.

I haven't had a nice experience with any of them. They all just pick the virus and shove it into a vault. However, the new 2009 norton actually isn't doing to bad on that part. But, I hate it when anti-viruses always pop up with updates and warnings and stuff. They should just update them themselves and stop warning me, I know what to do and not do!!!

I had that problem when I bought a McCaffee anti virus. Always blocks every site I go in.

I don't use any of these programs because you have to pay for them, I use Microsoft Security Essentials because it's free and it works. I also use MalwareBytes and that's free too and they've kept my computer safe. They've caught everything that's tried to get on my computer.

Norton caused endless trouble for me and was definitely not worth the price. Avast is free though, and definitely my favourite of all those you listed. McAfee was just plain useless and difficult to use.
