If they are a true friend they should be thankful that you are here thanks to them and you should receive a welcome message from them. They should also be able to guide you and help you understand things better here. Sadly that does not always happen but there are many others here who, regardless of whether you joined through their link or not, are more than willing to help. Just add them when you see a user that you think you would like as a friend.

If you wish to find a good friend here on MyLot then you should try to read topics that interest you. I am sure that you will be able to find somebody where it can caught your attention to make friends with him or her. It's what I do and they gladly accepted me as a friend.
