I have these questions about growing a beard and I really hope I will get some opinions. My beard hasn't yet grown on all my face only the mustache and a few hairs on the chin. I don't think I would like to have my beard grow very fast because I hear my father complaining he has to shave his beard every 2 days.
I heard that if you shave more often your beard will grow faster ... is that true ? I think that in time I will like having a beard and take care of it. Here are some more questions and I really hope I will get some responses.
First some questions for men.
How often do you shave your beard ?
What do you use to shave your beard ?
And a question for women.
What do you like more a grown beard or a shaved beard ?
Can't wait to hear some opinions.

Yes it is true that if you shave more, the hairs will grow faster, I thought it was a rumor at first as well, but didn't seem so after all. I shave my beard every 3-4 days I think, don't really count them. As soon as it shows harder than I want, I shave myself... :D I use normal shaving ones from Gillette. Hope you get some good info here, will be checking back soon ;)

Shave every 2 days with a saftey razor. If let it grow over a week, I like to use a straight razor, it is much nicer I find, and funner. But, my beard has yet to grow fuller and thicker. Once it gets to a certain thickness, I think I will grow a big, nasty bushy beard, not even trimming it, haha. Like Tom Hanks beard on Castaway.
