So, I saw many people has done it. Tongue piercing; nipple and lip piercing. Those part kind of sensitive within your body, and I don't see the attraction of it. Why people still doing it? I just don't get it. What is the mentality of it, when people are willing to get those part pierced with a ring?

The Tongue piercing is good for oral. And well must be kinda fun to play with if your making out with the person. Haven't you seen Pulp Fiction? Anyway the whole percing and tattoo thing is becoming a normal thing to do especially among my age group of 18 year olds who have just left the control of there parents.

So tongue piercing is solely for the purpose of making out with someone, and it has good feeling to provide? Is that all?

Yeah that is basically it. I dont really know any other reason you would get your tongue pierced.

It's a way of self expression, as there are different colors of barbells and balls, they have so many different colors and shapes, styles and types of metals and it's just awesome, they even have some with words. I have my tongue pierced and I think it's great. Same goes with lip piercings. As to the nipple piercing... to each their own lol.

I do appreciate some people who pierced parts of their body like, ears, tip of the eyebrow and nose, some people look good with them. Sometimes I consider them as an expression of art. But piercing the tongue and the nipple and other sensitive part is sometimes... I don't know! Honestly, I don't find them appealing at all, and the pain you went through in order to achieve that is absurd (oh well maybe it's worth it for them). Let them have it, it's their body anyway.

I guess I am one of those people that will never understand why anyone would do this to themselves. The only reason I could think of is that they thought it would be really cool or seen other people do it. I don't think I would be willing to do that to myself because I don't feel comfortable around needles. It just makes me uncomfortable thinking about it. lol.

I never could understand this practice. I had a hard enough time getting my ears to heal after having them pierced.

These things aren't popular in China, I havn't seen anybody with these. I can't receive these, and can't understand why these things exist. I think it's a kind of body-hurt. Including tatoo, it's not tribe age now, no totem needed.

It's not attractive for me but I've friends with that, so I don't disagree that, just that I will never do a thing like that. I've never been with a girl with a tongue piercing, but I think that I won't like it...
