I hate it, when this actually happen. After I type my entry in the discussion box, and I clicked "submit" button", the explorer was keep on running, running. It seems that it stuck somewhere in the connection. Or maybe the other end, the recipient computer couldn't verified this connection or something. At the end, it just stuck there forever, and giving me a warning message about this server is not working properly. I have to hit the "refresh" button, and bring me back to the discussion box again. My discussion entry was erased, and I have to re - type the whole entry once again. What if I have a long entry, I have spend time to type the whole thing again. I just hate it when this happen. Anyway, internet is not perfect, sometimes I have to gone through the whole process over and over again.

Hello parker, that's why you have to use some of a word pad. and when you're done typing your discussion, just copy paste it so that you can reassure that you don't have to repeat it again if the browser slows up some how. that's what i do because it has happened to me before and i didn't like one bit. put it in notepad then copy paste it.

That is a too much of a hassle copy my entry into a word pad first, then send it out? Although I hate this connection, but I won't do that, unless it is super important.

Yup thats happen to me while posting several times, its really annoying because sometimes when that happens I end up having to type the whole post over because the explorer screen never goes to the tag completions page and it stays stuck I do hate it when that happens.

hi kingparker, It was totally disgusting when all we have to do is to submit our response and then just because of bad internet connection, we were not able to submit it. Then, we have to retype the whole response. It was annoying because it really wasted our time. Just imagine, we have to think thoroughly and make our discussion the best it can be and after that, it won't be submitted just because of some internet problems. Before, I have suffered so much from that type of problems. However, after I reached 500th post, it gave me a relief. I can do copy and paste method. Everytime, I think that I am having some problems in submitting my response, I copy my response first. I always do it so I can save my time in responding.

yeah, its disappointing and upsetting everytime things like this happens. it does happen to me most of the time and i really get irritated...but i have learned my lesson already and so whenever i am posting, after writing the whole thing i make sure to copy it first before hitting the post response button. that way whatever happens i can easily just paste what i have written before...or sometimes i can just hit the back button then forward then resend and the whole thing will be back again. what i just hate more is getting the 'bad request' page coz i can no longer retrieve hat i have written...

Actually, this happens not only on myLot, but in many other online applications, like other forum, e-mail and blog. I have this kind of experience also, but not limited in myLot. Therefore, now when I need to type a long post, I would usually type that in other word processor (like note pad or MS word) and copy that here. For some sites like Helium, there is even a function specially made for copying content from MS word to their textbox. Well, I know this is impossible in myLot..... Internet is not perfect....

Lol did this JUST happen to you? That truly, royally sucks. Sorry friend. That has happened to me tons of times. Especially on long messages. I've had an instance I had to retype 4 or 5 times then gave up (I really wanted to get that point across). What I don't like about this is, you have to type IN the box itself since copy pasting is not encouraged here. Well, just bad luck sometimes I guess. Nice topic, kingparker! ++ for your troubles lol!

I have similar [problems and sometimes afterwards I find that my discussions have then been duplicated and I have to ask mylot to delete one of them!!

I met this problem several times in the past. Since you have more than 500 posts now, so it's a good habit to copy what you typed so you can paste them back if this kind of accident happens. What browser are you using now? I find firefox is better than IE in using myLot because it can rebuild the connection and send what you typed again. Be well and happy lotting.

I hate this its horrible I connect to the internet through my phone so this happens to me quite a lot. Im not sure what kind of internet you have but I'm changing mine to cox I think lol. My phone does this thing where it says mobile service unavailable or something like that and im like... oh god did they turn off my phone... I just upgraded to a droid which was suppose to be better than my samsung delve but the things signal and battery life suck so bad its really not worth having as a phone so much as having it as a mobile game/music player... I really wish I didn't upgrade lol. Anyways thanks for the ranting page! -Scott
