I do not have an answer to these two question still I dare to ask. The questions are 1) if you remove a part from infinity or add a part to infinity, then what remains would you still call it infinity"? 2) How humans were able to invent or conceptualize infinity without ever being able to experience it?

About your first question - If we remove some part from Infinity and if still its not measurable, we will still say infinity. Again if we add something to infinity, does not make any different either, its still infinity. This is my understanding, No idea about second question will follow the post to know the answer. Nice post

Existance of GOD is individuals belief, I believe in god so that exists for me. There are people who do not believe so will say that its all manmain stories. God and universe may have been at the same time that is why this universe exists

What if I say because you have not experienced it therefore you call God infinite. Once you have experienced God it would no more be infinite. What you have to say to this?

Your answer on first question does appeal to me. Adverting to the second question, just to give our gray cells a little workout can we assume what we cannot experience is infinite. For example God. Another thing, may be infinity simply does not exist. Everything in this universe is time bound and not timeless. Then the question would arise that even God would fall within it's ambit. Did God exist when there was no universe; or he came to exist with universe and he would cease to exist if there is no universe. The idea is to stretch the discussion a little further to see where do we arrive.

1) Yes, the infinity is something to express higher or lower levels of something, so if you take a little piece of infinity or add it, you just have more or less infinity, the infinity is that, a way to express higher o lower levels. 2) The infinity can not be experienced it's something to express something endless, or to far away, so the only way to express this is replace it with something else, so now we can explain that infinity is something endless, or near to the endless.

Since we cannot apply time tag to infinity, do you think it is possible to take a little piece of time or add it to the infinity?

Time is another tag, we can say the following: "An endless amount of time: infinity", so if we take a part of time or add other, we will still have infinity. We can not manipulate the time, so we can not change the infinity value. Anyway the Infinity word is used in many science aspects to express something endless, I don't know why you want to add something to infinity or subtract something from it, infinity will be the same always. 8 + a = 8 8 - a = 8 If "a" is any amount of time, we always get 8

I used the infinity character, but the site convert it to 8

Well, I donno how exactly to answer those questions, but I'll try. If we add or remove a part from infinity, it would still remain infinite as no one has ever ever gone to calculating till infinite. As humans weren't able to calculate or measure as far as they cant see, they defined it as infinite.

In Mathematics infinity is defined as y = 1/x. When x tends to 0, y approaches infinity as simple as that. When infinity is not defined quantitatively the question of adding or removing does not arise. This is how I understand the word 'infinity'

Your understanding of infinity is infinite, I cannot remove or add anything from it or to it. Thanks for your response.
