headphone working but microphone not working.....

I always have problem with headset which uses jack. That's why I never buy them anymore. I only use USB headset. They work much better and last a lot longer. Granted the headset with jack is cheaper compared to the USB ones in the initial cost. They are not economical in a way that they do not last very long. I am very happy with the USB headsets and would recommend it to anyone. I use Logitech Comfort series and the difference in sound quality and the quality of the microphone when used as a device for VOIP is huge.

You can try to replug it few times and see if you can hear even a bit scratch sound from your headphone speaker,probably you headphone jack and the connector to your pc or the gadget you want to plug it dont really match. If nothing went right you can return it to the shop and let them check it. A lesson here we should check our purchased product first before we take it home.

hi buddy..... i think this is the 9th wonder...... just kidding.... ok you had bought a new headphone and you prlm is you can hear the sound from microphone.... do one thing plug out the microphone pin and listen to it if it is coming in headphone or not... if sound doesn't came from head phone go to the shop and return it if u have warranty.. otherwise get a new one..........
