alcoholic or malt?

do you prefer drinking malt- or alcohol-based? in most occasions, if ever possible to find an alcohol-based drink, i prefer to drink it rather than malt. conscious about getting my belly bigger, i avoid drinking malts. but anyways, it's not an absolute no for me about it. only that i choose to take the "light" more than the regular kind.
