i disagree with giving freedom to children after 18.give freedom to give opionion what they think and what they want to be in future ,if it is correct let them do.but giving freedom to everything is completely wrong.parents must have eye on them for whatever them do.if we does not do so at the end we must not pay for it.

I think, it's okay. Freedom with supervision. Total freedom to be given to 18 year olds, I disagree too. But semi-freedom, I agree because it's a nice way of training teens on how to use it correctly with parents still at their side.

Yes parent should still guide their children even if they reached their legal age, it doesn't have to be 18. But at that age they can now do what they want. So there's really nothing you can do but show them your love and give them lots of advises. Remember they are not children anymore. I think it is also time for them to learn things on their own. Time for life to be their new teacher. Just be there always when they fall down.

I think when a guy or girl is 18+ we should honor his her feelings and treat more or less as a friend, freedom can be granted under moderate supervision, neither tight, nor slack, this age is too delicate.. Thanks for sharing. Welcome always. Cheers. Professor

I hope its ok. But not in all field. Specially in our India. If at this age we take all decission without permision our parents then it affect in our future life. I look some parents , they not give any freedom to his children at the age of teenage. After 18 when he go to outside of his town for his education then dont take any decission what is right and what is wrong.
