I think this is relatively new survey site, but I was wondering if anybody was a member or had been paid by them yet. Or if it was even worth signing up for. I tried to look online for a little information about it, but my browser isn't liking me much right now.

This site is genuine. I have been paid by this site once. It is a matter of whether it is worth signing up for. If you are from the US, you will find that there are many surveys for you. If you are anywhere else in the world, you may find the surveys come to you sporadically. It is really up to you to try it out. But be informed that you need 1000 points to reach payout of US$50. They will send you a cheque either in USD or your local currency. All the best!

1000 points? And it probably only gives like 10 points per survey...not gonna happen. And I only want payments to my PayPal or AlertPay.

I do not see why you should not join global test market if they only pay by check, i got my check in local currency so theres no further deducting from the bank. BTW i have also been paid once.

BTW, 1000 points aren't that hard to get, since typically a survey wud give u at least 35-40 pts(cud be more too!), in case u fit the profile. In case u dont, they still give u 5 pt. for taking time out! Being in India, I'm always at a disadvantage as far as surveys are concerned, but I'm already nearing my second $50 payout with this site!

I am sure it is a scam. I have tried it. Either you will get no surveys or you will get expired surveys. Sometimes you get surveys that would talk half an hour to complete but it would fetch you only in cents. Don't get misleaded.

If you would read the comments left by other people, you will see that they have been paid and it depends on where you are as to your results. Yes, I'm sure some people have been ripped off by this at some point, but stuff happens.

I have been a member of Global Test Market for MANY years. For a long time I was reaching payout every 6 months ($50 is the minimum). It's been a while since I've reached payout though because they've changed their structure a bit.

I like GTM! I agree with greencard that GTM is not a new site, they've been around. I'm needing one more 35 point survey to bring my account to the 1000 point threshold to request my $50 cash out check. I receive a decent number of surveys from them. I would recommend GTM :)

Awesome, and good luck on that next survey. I'll take what you and the others have said into consideration.

This is not a new survey site, Global Test Market has some reports about scam and terminating accounts when you are near payout, some says that they are paid by this survey site. In my opinion it is much better to stay away from it to avoid being scammed.

I'm kinda leery of sites that show a lot of testimonials anyways. I think I'll listen to your advice.

Hey! This is NOT a new site.....I've been their member since more than 1 1/2 years. And, yes, I'd been paid by them by check as soon as I reached $50. This is one site I regard very highly becoz I've had a good exp. with them....even though I'm based in India, I get fair share of surveys.....Go for it!

Nice. I'm reconsidering joining them, and if I like what I find, I'll stick with it. But I never qualify for surveys on other sites.

well is not that new, but I have around 1 month and a half on it and I recollected around 700 points... to cash out you need at least 1000 that represent 50 us dollars. is pretty boring if you dont want to spend the whole time doing questionnaires... each of them takes around 30 mins and give you between 30 and 60 points... also is not that you go to the website and choose a questionnaire, they send it to your mail. at the beginning was pretty slow, to be honest i didnt believed so much in that time reason I started slow but now i seet hat is kind of realiable, at least with the points... lets see with the money in a couple of weeks...

Like everyone else said before, GTM is not new. I have been a member for 3 or more years. I have cashed out $250 for my first cash out. I have sent in my request for $70 and I am expecting to receive it any day now. Payment comes in local currency cheque. As with most survey site, GTM is good for US or UK people. While I was in the UK, I used to receive lots of surveys, that was what enabled me to get the $250. After moving to India, I don't receive much survey, but I still managed to get the $70. Only thing is, it takes time.

Regardless of the few who say GTM is a scam, I am here to tell you that it is not. I've been a member for a while, and I have been paid twice, by check. I do have a hard time qualifying for surveys, but that is at all survey sites, not just Global, and so it takes me a while to earn the points, but they do pay. I am, apparently, in an age group that has a lot of other people in it, so I screen out a lot, but I keep hanging in there, and I eventually get the points I need. Good luck to you.
