distilled water

I had attended a seminar and i just found out that distilled water are carcinogens? what do you think about that?

Oh, my God! Are you sure? But, i do not think drinking distilled water will cause cancer for everyone. It depends on each person, how they react to the chemicals in distilled water. For some it would be carcinogens, but for the rest it could be harmless

Really? But distilled water is the purest of all water. It only contains H2O. I really doubt that because it doesn't contain any other things except, well, water. Any soure they cited to validate their claim? Its just scary if its true. Water causing cancer. tsk tsk.

I think this is another scare tactic. The Daily Mail (a UK newspaper) is renowned for relating everything you can think of with cancer, so I do not trust this in the slightest. If a fully qualified doctor warned me and has the evidence to prove it, then I would listen up. But not to silly rumours!
