What are some ways that people grieve?

I find that I distance myself from my loved ones, cry at weird moments (especially at night).....what are other ways people grieve...do you know?

I cry whereever and whenever. I just cry and let out all my pain. When I'm around people I try to hold it in, but that's hard.
My friend tried to be strong around family and some friends. She didn't cry until we were alone in the church just me her and her b/f. She didn't want her family to see her cry.
