our most acute sense

Out of my five senses, my most sensitive was the sense of smell. I simply could not bear strong smells and have a hard time tolerating them. Last night as I was lying in bed, some cigarette smoke came in and I had to cover my nose. Today there was some strong smell of a different kind of detergent they used for the toilet in my office and I have to escape again. Am I allergic? Do any of you have similar aversions to strong smells? Or what's your most sensitive sense? P.s, I can't even tolerate perfumes much.

I would probably be among the last to smell it in the office. Yes it is. Something is probably wrong with my nose or that my smell organ has been overly worked that it refuses to work properly now. I tend to be careful when putting on a perfume. Just because I can't smell doesn't mean others can't. And I hate to walk around like a perfume bottle or a perfume salesman. But in other areas I may score pretty high as far as the senses are concerned.

Your senses are acute enough to pick up the scents around you. That's why you probably don't need to wear that much. What you said is actually true. Too much perfume around may actually make me dizzy.

If I meet somebody with a strong smell, I will not tell that person but I will make sure I stay far away ^_*

Haha that's a pretty funny response. If people applied just a little it's all right with me. I couldn't really bear being near perfume salesman. I think I'm a bit weird because most girls love perfume but I don't.

Each Senses is sensitive only so they are called sense organs. Eyes are sensitive to intense light and dust similarly ears are sensitive to harsh sound (even that of mosquito). Nose is no different few unpleasant and strong smells which it is not acquainted to will cause allergy and is far from comfortableness.

That's a good analysis. I suppose I don't like being uncomfortable, so I have all these little little complaints.

Herro bluemoonpavilion I too have a strong sense of smell. I am sensitive to exhaust fules, cig smoke...etc. My second most sensitive is sound. My hears hurt from the deep base of many of the car radios traveling on the road. Many times I have to close my car windows and turn my radio up to drown the pain. Touch is pretty useful. Prosperous mylotting
