Time that takes you to drink a coffe

I have some friends who drink their coffee very fast. Seriously ... they drink coffee fast, I don't know why ... but to make ... I like to drink it little by little. When I drink coffee I'm enjoying my time, so I keep on to that one cup a coffee sometimes for an hour or two. But these guys I know drink it in 5 minutes. I like drinking my coffee when I'm working on the computer. I find it more tasty when I'm sitting down and working on something rather then just sit, chat and drink.
So how long does it take you do drink a coffee ? that is ... if you drink coffee :D

Hi geojb90, I like to drink hot coffee. I could really the true aromatic taste of this hot beverage only. Therefore I always try to finish it before it turns cold. And how long actually I finish a cup of hot coffee and this usually depends on the situation.
Hot coffee that served in the air con room or under the fan would turn to be cold faster. In winter days hot drink becomes cold faster as well especially when taking them served on the outdoor table. 
unless the hot drink is served from the coffee maker a little by a little. I would get the fragrant smell of it first when it's served freshly. Usually I would finish my cup of hot coffee by sipping it slowly for 20 minutes or so

I agree. I hate when my coffee gets cold. And those new iced coffees? I find those so gross. If I don't like my coffee cold, I'm not going to like it iced either. I feel like it's overly sweet too. Maybe they add so much sugar to make up for the ice diluting the flavor.
I drink my coffee without sugar. I was given it without sugar a few years ago and I've gotten used to it. If it has sugar, I don't mind, but I usually drink it without. I also drink it slowly too. There's usually no reason to rush. But even if there is, I put it in a thermos and go off on my way. I think it does taste better when you drink it slower. I'm not quite sure why. Maybe it's because you're enjoying it, instead of scarfing it down. Who knows.

Hi geo jb: I agree with you and I think it's better to enjoy the taste of my cofee drinking it little by little. In my case it takes like 10-15 minutes to finish my cup of cofee because I like to enjoy the moment and it's a nice way to start my day. I think that it's easier to talk feeling relaxed so a cup of coffee is and excelent complement to start a conversation in a cafeteria. However, if I'm drinking my cup of coffee in my office it takes me an hour to finish it and that's probably because I'd like that the comfortable sensation that brings me the coffee last the most. Hi Geo,
I like my coffee iced. It's a good start for my day especially when I'm at work. I love it cold. When I drink my coffee, I enjoy every moment of it. I don't want to drink it fast because I want to taste it's creaminess, mild bitter taste and the sweetness of it. Don't you just love how great it makes your day? :)

i love coffee. i taste every sip of it and definitely not rushing to finish it. whenever i read or after meal or in some ways where i only chill, there is coffee. should be black and i can deal with a cup for hours then i can take another one. :)

I am a coffee addict! I drink coffee all the time, morning and night. In the morning when I drink hot coffee I usually take my time, 10min or so. When I drink iced coffee, or coffee during the day I tend to drink it very VERY fast... usually less than 5min hahaha :-P

It will take me about half an hour to consume a cup of coffee. The coffee is usually hot and I cannot consume it immediately.

Hi pinoy blogger: I agree with you. When I drink my cup of coffee I don't like to have to drink it fast because it's hot and that's not the way I enjoy it the most because it's not a pleasure sensation to drink or eat something that is hot

slowly as it is hot, my tongue burns all the time if i try to sip a newly mix coffee..
i only drink coffee once or twice a year by the way..hehe

The people you know who drink it in 5 minutes probably are only drinking it for the caffiene and are not conniseurs. They're not likely to spend time to enjoy a cup of coffee or spend the money for finer roasts.
As for me, it depends on the type of coffee and how much time i have. When i have to run out in the morning and only have a few minutes to drink it, i only take those few minutes. When i have the time to, i savor it!

I think it depends on the people I am with, or if I am with anyone at all. If I am alone, I would take my time to drink while working on something. If I am with some friends, I would drink as fast as possible so we can go off and have some fun. So usually 10 minutes to 40 minutes.

I drink coffee pretty quickly, but I always wait a bit before I start drinking it, because I cannot drink coffee that is too hot. So sometimes I wait for quite a bit, until the coffee cools down, but when I start drinking it, I am fast!

I love drinking coffee, and I always enjoy it when I work at night. I seldom drink it so fast , I enjoy to drink it little by little ,like you. Before I taste it , First I smell it. So It always takes me one or two hours to drink it off. what is your hobby?

hi!....I just love to drink my cup of coffee slowly. I want to savor its aroma and creaminess.
I find it enjoyable to share a cup with my husband...we just sit, talk about almost anything, watch the sunset as we slowly sip our coffee....
........ahh, moments like these are quite nostalgic.....

I hope i take a maximum of 10 minutes because i want my coffee to be at least warm, otherwise, it tastes different and i dont like it that way, but since you are saying you like cold coffee, you can take all your time to drink it for it is not going to turn cold...

well i usually drink it in 1-2 gulps. But if its hot then ill let it get colder before i drink it.
