Do you know what your dream house looks like?

Do you know what your dream home would be like? I know that people are very different when it comes to this, because I have not planned anything when it comes to the house I want to get sometime in the future (I have some basic ideas, like wanting to have a library etc), but some of my friends already know all the details about what they are looking for.
I mostly think that you should go look at houses when you want to get one, and see what you fall in love with, and not plan too much before you have even seen anything!

i have already built one, following my retirement from job, it was designed by one of the best architects in my city, i spent all my savings there..

I ve my dream house as well. I ve put up the plan as well already. That is blue print!!.I ve a meditation hall in my plan.A gym to work out. and basic things.Ya i ve looked into other houses as well. But yes dont just plan look for good one and then plan.And if u ve a sight to build!!

Sounds really good! A meditation hall and a gym would be amazing to have at home, but I guess it depends on how big the house is. I hope you manage to get your dream house with all that cool stuff one day!

Yes. I want a house with 4 bedrooms, 3 T&B, 2 carport, lanai and terrace and a swimming pool. I've seen a lot of beautiful house but as of today, I don't have any plans of buying my dream house because I have other priorities. I still believe in simple living.

What is a lanai though? I have never heard that term before... The rest sounds quite wonderful! And I believe it is possible to live simply in a great house too, one thing does not have to prevent you from doing the other!

well when im thinking about it, i want a house that has a 5-10 underground floors that is 200 sq meter or larger. It will have underground basketball court and such. well i don't really like neighbors looking at my property so this is the best. My own personal bunker.

Haha, a personal bunker is a bit of an unusual wish I guess, but why not? I can see the pros of such an arrangement! Hope you manage to get it one day! Fingers crossed!

Well, at the moment, we rent our house and it is much too small for us. There are 6 of us here and we only have 3 bedrooms really, but my husband and I sleep downstairs in the front room. So my dream house would give us a bedroom each, a separate kitchen and lots of space, which we are lacking now!

I always wanted a big house, where there are many rooms; master's bedroom, my kids' bedrooms and guests' bedrooms. I also wanted to have a prayer room. I want to have a big kitchen where I can freely cook, with all the tools and equipment. I also wanted to have a swimming pool and have a mini garden at the backyard.
