I have always been a bit curious about aroma theraphy. I would want to learn more about it, but I am not really sure where I should start. So what do you guys think about aromatheraphy? Do you think it works? Is it hard to learn the basics? Is it worth it to learn the basics?

There is much to be said about aromatherapy. Certain scents have calming effects while others are renergizing. I know that lavander is one of those scents used for calming effects. That is why many bath washes and baby lotions have lavender in them. I would not put a whole lot of faith into aromatherapy as a healing technique but it will help with energy levels. Basics can be found at many health stores or by googling the subject.

That is very helpful, thank you! I actually knew that lavendel thing, but that's pretty much all I know, so I really should learn more! Have you ever tried it for anything yourself?

I have a lavender and vanilla lotion on my desk at work. If things become highly stressful I will put a small amount on my hands. It does help a little but I think part of that is just knowing that I have reached my limit and I have to destress. I think citrus smells are suppose to be then invigorating scents.
