no matter what we all think about bribery and corruption, .. it appears none seems to bother. For the past 9 hours, there is not a single response or comment, to your heart felt observation.
however, don't lose heart. It is not surprising, that people even in mylot are more sharp in responding to matters concerning making money, than be aware and careful about spending money, in a wrong way. like bribing.
any authority, be it quasy government, or other agency.. will fail to stop corruption, as there is no public participation.
if you don't start giving., there will be none to ask soon. but, who is listening?

Yes u r right. If u r familiar with lokayuktha in karnataka ,India u'll get to know how it works.He single handedly caught officials with lots of black money,imported cars and al.So they finally gave him authority to suspend govt officials like comissioners and all.Every one fears him.But it works at snails pace.

lols. and, you know how these politicians are working. either there in KARNATAKA or in my state ANDHRA PRADESH..
opposition wants CHIEF MINISTER and other ministers also to be covered by lokayukta.
but, ruling party does not want any intervention. they are all corrupt.

I think it should come from a private organization or media wherein they can expose all the corruption and bribery that's been happening all around the government. They can expose all the shameful things that those people are doing. I do think that there's still good people around and hopefully someday ... as what happens in movies, good will overcome the bad.

Corruption, Bribery also these do not happen only in Government work and I feel that as citizens we also are to blame. Don't we also try to bribe people when we want our work to be done. If we as people stop doing this only then will there be no corruption or bribery.

A super government, do you realize what that would cause. the super government will be more powerful than the government controlling the country. So the corruption in that "upper agency" will be even more corrupt. where ever there is a line of power (ie. central gov't - local gov't - people) there is corruption. The only way to get rid of a majority of the corruption in any institution, is to make sure the information within the institution is completely open to the public. that way people who care only about the policy and not the position or money they get, will be able to police the system and make sure the institution isn't doing anything illegal.
