Mathematics is my favorite subject. It's the easiest subject because you only have to memorize a few formulas and play with numbers. We only have 10 digits. =)

the best way to remove maths phobia is t face it ..start doing it...and instead of doing unsolved question start with solved question as they would you more...try to solve them yourself and wherever struck refer to the solution and when u start feeling comfortable with the topic try more question.. i used to solove maths till higher secondary level and thus have chosen mathematics at graduation...but therte i found that iit is totally different..there had been no similarity with what i have learntt earlier..i developed phobia for sume maths field and used the same techinque... though its time consuming but it is effective

Similar to the English subject, Mathematics is a subject that no changes involved. I mean, the lessons of this subject does not vary over the years. I have also difficulty dealing with the Mathematics subject but we must face it. In order to overcome that phobia, constant study or joining a group study is one of the best solutions that should be attained. On this way, you will improve tremendously.

Learning is always fun if taken in the right spirit. And, math is a very good and important subject to learn. I think you can help of a tutor to get out of your math phobia. You can ask your parents or school teachers to help you. Otherwise, you can take advantage of any online tutoring services like tutorteddy.com. My daughter uses it and has improved her grades.

In order to get over your phobia, you need to focus on that field to learn more. Don't let your phobia control you, it is all up to your mind. I had friend in college who also see mathematics as her nightmare and really she failed college algebra 3 times. That time I am doing tutorials in mathematics and she came up to me and wanted my help, so I helped her. Before we proceed our lesson, I told her to let go all of her fears of not getting it right and focus on the lesson. After a couple of sessions she did make a good grades in her math subject and I am so proud of myself for helping her.

Hi, In order to get over the phobia, you have to learn in depth. The things that you are studying right now are the things that are making you afraid. You should take a top down approach, which means, you have to use your current curriculum only as an index of your study and toil on mathematics as long as you are not satisfied with it. There must be a point of time when you didn't have this fear. Before starting out anything you have to first identify that point of time and figure out what went wrong afterwards. Set aside the curriculum for now and try to first develop the foundation. Like I said, you have to use your current syllabus as a list of what things you have to practice. Practice more, visualize more. Don't just do your mathematics mechanically. Try to understand the implementation of it. Use internet to assist you. Try to find out the 'fun' in mathematics. Once you get the taste of it, you will do excellent in mathematics. Thanks God bless you

I was not very good in math when I was in elementary and in high school. I had very low grades I almost failed in them. When I was in college, I discovered that I was actually good at it. But I was not good instantly but I became good because I practiced and practiced everyday. I think math just require a lot of practice, just practice, maybe you will also find out in the future you are actually good at it.

Hi.. Mathematics is one of my favourite subject.. it is really a useful subject in variety of fields.. when doing mathematics, it is the thinking process that matters.. if you only memorise what to do when you see certain phrase of question, you have defy the purpose of learning the subject and you would not have gain anything whatsoever in the thinking process.. there are many mathematical subjects which are actually inter-linked to each other, if you are to memories each and every topic individually, you will end up confused, not understanding, not to mention a bunch of ideas to remember of which you cant seem to link.. the best way to learn mathematics is to really think about what every phrase and question mean and how they are related to the workings you have to apply.. most mathematical methods are actually very simple and are derived from what the question requires and hence here we are refering to the understanding of the language use... Of course, it is not possible as well to fully understand the subject if you have not yet fully understood the lower levels of mathematics.. say you are studying a higher level of mathematics and it is related to some lower levels of mathematics.. i suggest you go back to understand the lower level's topic first and use your own explanation and in your own understanding and words, teach yourself, and study how it is related to that you have done before in the lower levels.. it is usually always related and most of the time it is the way of asking it, or the expression used that make things looks a bit difficult.. here again.. the most important topic to master when studying mathematics is Algebra.. having understood which you will be able to handle most difficult questions and expressions.. another hint is, that the way of language used(ideas, picture, hence by logics) in mathematics is usually related to why the working or formulae is so and so.. hope this helps =)
