What were the requirements into becoming an Avon seller or dealer? Are we required to have trainings? How much is the registration fee?

I have attempted to sell Avon many times. Avon charges a $10 or $15 registration fee and then makes you buy your own brochures, samples and bags as well as any other sales aids. The commission you earn is easily eaten up by these. Unless you have a good customer base, it is easy to go in the red with Avon. Find a representative and talk to her about signing up. She can walk you through it...or you can go to avon.com and sign up there. You can also find a rep to sign up through at their website. If you sign up through a rep, she will get paid a percentage of your sales and the reps will often help you with the registration fee.

Wow! That's quite a big amount. I didn't know that we're the ones who should buy the brochures, I was expecting that it's for free. Anyways, thank you very much alaskanray...

There is nothing much requirements to become an Avon dealer. All you have to do is attend their seminar and submit a few requirements, then you will be issued an ID. Good luck on your new venture.

When I registered at Avon, it doesn't cost me a dime and that was 1 year ago. I filled up a registration form with a photocopy of my SSS ID and I only paid one time for my ID which is 20 pesos. They don't provide training anyway, it is own your own of how you will market the product to earn a good commission.

My girlfriend is an Avon dealer... She just pass by in Avon branch in Cubao. What I know is that they need valid ID. Registration is no hassle as far as I know. You should try it. You'll have no loss in registering. ^_^
