Crazy about celebrities?

I have some favorite celebrities but I always look at them as normal human beings because they are in fact normal people so no question of idolizing them as God. They have been hardworking in their fields and it is a good thing but it does not mean that they are perfect beings on earth. They have a personal life too and I think they are just good entertainers.

I like some celebrities, but i don't want to be them or be like them. I am definately not crazy about them. TATA.

Well, I would not want to be a celebrity who is hunted by reporters with cameras wherever I go. I believe we all were created with a wish to look up to someone higher than we, and this should be our Creator and not a human being. In many cases though, people replace the worship we should give God, with human celebrities. And in most cases they don´t know what kind of persons the celebrities really are. So, better keep the celebrities on the right place. They are human beings like we with some special skills that we appreciate. Other people have other skills but don´t get famous. They are still just as good as anybody else..

No! Cinema stars are just to be viewed as good entertainers only. Considering them as idols is too much for me. We don't know what their real characters are and then how can anybody consider them as idols? An average man identifies himself with his favorite hero and see his ego boosted. That should be left as such.

Hi keep_onwatch, I too admire some of the celebrities but i am not crazy about them. Celebrities are just like a normal persons but they entertain the people, which never shows their reality.

Well,in a certain degree,celebrities are to be worshipped.I mean,if there aren't so many crazy people eager to buy their favourite stars' tickets or any other stuff concerning about them,how can celebrities be called celebrities,how can they make fortune? Maybe they just find some similarities between the celebrities and themselves.And the celebrities motivate them.Like I am also crazy about Michael Jackson and Keanu Reeves.So everyone has his principles.Maybe it is not understandable for you,but different ideas do exist. I don't really see them as above the normal person. BUt there are some celebrities that I idolize from afar. I hope that if I ever get to meet them in real life they aren't jerks and ruin the perception I have of them. I think celebrities do work hard at their profession to entertain us and maybe they should get rewarded sometimes.

Hi keep on watch: I admire some musicians but I think that is normal. I like them because they are talented, maybe good looking and because I think they are great doing what they do. I support them because I think they are really good on their jobs and that this is positive, but I know they are human too and that they make mistakes, so I think that I know the limits. It is not really bad to admire those celebrities that we are seeing on air but worshiping them like God is too much. I already had an experienced when the fans (or I must say they are FANATICS) of this Pinoy Big Brother housemate season 2 Mickey Perz, the one who got 2nd big placer during the big night. I am actually his fan too but then they have read something to my post here in mylot that they misinterpreted into negative views which is not my intention at all. I've already explained about it but they don't want to listen because they were acting like cults already because of that guy, since almost all of them are ladies. In my opinion it just so happens that they are more popular because they were just seen on the air where all people around the world can easily see them that we can witness a lot of things they are doing especially their talents. They can be more popular compare to politicians since some of them are being seen on air almost everyday. Sad thing about it the audience can't just control their limitations regarding their admiration to the celebrities.

Well it is true that media a days are the number one tool for brainwashing human. You're right that they are also human being. But being popular upgrades their well being. And ordinary people seems to praise them.

I love celebrities,but i don't reach the crazy level.In my opinion,celebrities have their own features,they have their own charm.Indeed,many male celebrities have handsome looking,many female celebrities have beautiful looking.
