I am looking for a compact digicam with some good zoom facility samsung seems to have launched a new cam with 14 megapixel and 15x zoom and still is slim!! but i am not that much comfortable with samsung can any one suggest me a digicam in almost same category or if some one is already using samsung cam how is it.Is it really worth a buy?

Samsung cameras have improved a lot over the years and are pretty good buy. If you want consider others though, here are some good choices
Panasonic FZ35
Olympus 590uz
Pentax Optio X90
Definitely the Panasonic is the best of the three
