How Useless is Your Computer Without an Internet Connection?

Without internet i don't even go on the computer. I will listen to music on my computer hard drive when i have internet, but just knowing that the internet is not there. I don't even go on it, not even to listen to music. My computer is so boring if it does not have any internet. I could not live without internet. Internet is my life even though sometimes it get pretty boring and i don't know what to do on it. So I'm thinking what to do when i dont have internet, i have to stick to watch boring tv. What to do without internet is hard very hard in fact.

i have a laptop with a USB modem. this modem can be used with any other computers. and because i have computer in the office, i can leave the laptop at home. so my wife said, what will be the use of it i won't leave the modem with the laptop? hmm... play solitaire.

Not entirely useless as I have downloaded a collection of interesting ebooks and seminars, but indeed it is not as fun as when you're online. Then again when I am online I can sometimes be amazingly bored.

Oh,it would be useless (not actually useless) But,without net connection,how can we surf ,chat,and update some files. One reason for having personal computers at home is internet,so,without net connection,it will be hard and seems useless. Have a good weekdays ahead

Yes, there is most certainly a limited amount of things to do on the computer without an Internet connection to the computer. There are still a couple of things to do here and there, as I still have a few games right on the computer that can be played. However, its not like that I can get any work done on the computer. Therefore, the amount of work that I can get done would be rather slim. I think I might be able to amuse myself for a couple of hours. After that, it just gets frustrating. There is so much that needs to be done on the Internet, that it is absurd. I remember the first couple of months that I had the computer, that it was without an Internet connection. I really do not know how I managed that one. These days, when the Internet goes down, it is pretty much an emergency. I would have to say that the computer is rendered useless.

well I don't think its completely useless without internet.... we still have other choices of entertainment in it..??? anyway internet...emails,mylot,youtube...I'm addicted to them... thanks for sharing..... have a great day/night.....

Hmnmmmmmm.... I have a large amount of games on my computer so I wouldn't get majorily bored without the Internet.

My internet connection was out for several weeks a couple of years ago. The only things I did were play games like Half-Life or write stuff. My usage of my computer usually focuses on the internet (e-mails, online games, MSN etc.) so my computer is pretty useless without an internet connection.

It would be pretty useless unless you want to simply type out stuff and print it, or make pictures or graphs, etc. You could do a lot of very useful stuff without the internet, but not having the internet can be a huge disadvnatage, and you need it to search for useful information, read emails, etc. It's pretty useless without the internet unless you have some kind of special programs that you don't need the internet on it for.

It depends on what you are doing... If I'm writing, listening to music or running a program, then I don't need internet connection.

Hmmm a computer without internet, well! computer is useful but without my internet connection well for me its totally boring!

hi 2wicelot i had like that before. it really boring when my computer can`t browsing. in my first day without internet it is not problem because i can play some games on my computer. but i can`t play it all the time, i need some information out there. internet was become my first priority right now. i don`t need to buy newspaper if i had an internet.

i will feel at lost...As a student internet is the most important research tools.. i can learn lots of information on the internet and some of the assingments need to be handed in online..Computer and internet is essential in my life..the first thing i do when i wake up is to on the computer and the last thing i do before i fall asleep is to off the computer.. And i need some entertainment dosage for the day on the internet

Well im fond of playing games so i'd probably just play the games that are stored in my pc. I listen to music, read the pdf files and webpages that i saved. But quite boring really if it doesnt have an internet connection, i see the same files over and over again coz i cant download stuff onlyn, lol.

for me its nothing...i don't even touch the computers if i dont have internet connection...only my children keep doing some painting and other things like making some kind of presentation etc....then only i come to know that my children know a lot more in computers than me .....once they made a presentation on 'My Mother' and i was so pleased to see it

computer without internet is really bad i hate it..it's as good as playing baseball without bat

I think I will be more productive without my internet connection! If I think about it objectively, much of what I do does not require a connection. I mostly earn online through writing. I am so distracted by the internet that I do not always finish what I set out to do.

I think I wont be able to use my PC if it has no internet connection. Most of the things I do with my PC needs internet connection. So its almost useless if I have not internet. The only thing I can do is play games, which is really unproductive.

Well...for me, Internet is like my bloodline. I am trying to make money online so if my computer is without internet connection, suddenly it will all stop. It's horrible if it really happens.
