real life experience from mylotters about blogging

To all mylotters, I know there's a tonne of website or blog out there that telling us how to make money out of blogging, but I wish to hear from mylot user who is active in blogging. How much money actually you're making from the blog and how long it will takes to achieve. The reason why I bring this subject to mylot because of the sense of trust in mylot, there's a lot of real people who not trying to attract user to their blog but just to make an input or having a random discussion. So, is there anybody who have the experience in blogging, could you please share some real experience with me.
