you brought me back to the colleage days when the stuffy professor was totally immersed in his professing, so dull that I slept over the whole classes, even though I was the monitor then.and also one time when I was giving a lesson to a student in my class, she was really slow to take in the knowledge, plus I was extremely jaded that day after 4 hours of class before, so for around 3 seconds i fell asleep while waiting for her answer! It's like that my head tumbled into pieces.

Hi bill zehua: I don't blame you because it's something really normal that might happend to you. Sometimes you feel like if your brain would be frozen for three seconds and you try to sleep and then you remember what's hapenning. Lol. XD. That's an embarrasing situation if someone notice that you have gone for this little moment. Thanks for your answer. Have a nice day. ALVARO

I always fall asleep during office hours specially after lunch. Sometimes you just can't fight it even if you don't want to fall asleep because your leads will see you. In our office people find ways not to get caught like, you should move your mouse once in a while so that your workstation will no show your screensaver. :)

We should take 8 hour asleep, tell the experts of public health. Those do not complete the average period of their sleep, they could not work properly. I think, same was happening with you in your studentship life crazy poster. Mathematics require a fresh mind. It is an interesting subject. It is called queen of sciences. But the people, who could not complete their sleeping hours, naturally sleep in the period of maths.

I never slept in the class when I did my school. Then I was a good and obedient student and we would be caned for sleeping in the class. So that fear, kept almost all those who wanted to sleep. But things were different in college. I slept in some classes where the lectures would not be interesting.

Many years ago I feel sound asleep at work. I was replacing pages in one of our safety manual....(boring) ans I feel asleep with my chin resting on my hand and was slightly snoring. I had partied the night before into the wee hours so I was really tired. I wakened up when my boss tapped my shoulder and what was really embarrassing was that he told be to clean up my mess... I had drooled a large puddle of saliva onto one of the manual pages!!

To tell you no is a lie. Of course, I do think each and everyone of us ever fall asleep during class in school. It would happen to me if I am not interested in the subject and find it boring to core. At work, at times, it does happen when there is nothing solid to do, especially on a afternoon after a heavy lunch.

I hate it but yes. I get bored so easily. Keep it interesting and not monotonous and Im good. I actually get mad sometimes when I feel myself falling asleep at work or during classes. Sometimes Im just too tired not to close my eyes for a few minutes at least. There was a tutor during my days in college which was secretly nicknamed 'human tranquillizer'. During her classes virtually all of us went to sleep. I felt sorry for her but many times was just too tired and disgusted to care.

Yes, i have fell asleep in my childhood in my class when i was small. It was really embarrassing for me to do that. I was in my class one day when the teacher as teaching us Maths. I was paying attention for a while but i just couldn't make out when i dozed off to sleep in the presence of the teacher in the class. When she saw me sleeping she was very angry. My friends woke me up and helped me to stand. Actually the previous night we had been to a family party. We came home very late because of which i got to sleep for a very little while. As the school was very early in the morning i had to wake up early and thus my sleep was not over and i fell asleep when teacher was teaching in the class.

Oh, I often having that during class also, usually if I went late asleep the night before, or else the lecturer was just so boring. At office, I cannot do this again because it can ruin my integrity and my boss can perceive me as a lazy person and slacking time.

My grandfather was a math lecturer and so never got a chance to sleep in math class during my school. I always hated chemistry class in collage and used to take back seat just to sleep I still remember our chemistry professor will ask back seating guys to come and sit in front row so that he can know who is not sleeping. He used to take revenge of class sleeping in the laboratory. A single mistake and there will an entry in your practical book. It used to be such a great sleep in the class, so deep not like these days when working in dreams as well

I never used to sleep in class during high school. The first class I fell asleep in was my sophomore basic math class. I don't know if it was the time of day, the teacher, or the material, but I just couldn't keep my eyes open!

If I ate a heavy meal before my classes, I would surely fall asleep. Since I attend my classes part time after work, I have to eat my dinner but not too heavy. I feel it's important to pay attention in classes even though some lessons may be boring. What the teachers/lecturers taught in that lesson the person is quite unlikely to repeat again. And I had a experience that my teacher gave some useful tips for exams during one of the lessons I was sleeping. When I woke up and tried to ask my friends, they won't tell me! I think it's ok if you dozed off for a while but not sleep like a log during lessons. When I'm working, I would remind myself not to eat heavy lunch which has a lot of meat and oily stuff, because I could just sleep on my table the moment I reach my working desk!

I would probably never admit to actually falling asleep in class or at work, but I have dozed off or have been in constant battle with dozing off so many times. Sometimes what you do can be so boring, or it feels like you keep on doing things over and over, and that tends to make me sleepy. :)

I've never really fallen asleep. But I've done that "Neck Dip" you know that second of sleep until your head dips down and you're wide awake...until it happens a few seconds later? lol I started to notice around 1pm-ish I'd get sleepy and then by the end of the day I was wide awake until I got home. Nap-time :) It mostly happened when I was in Geography or math

Yes, I humbly admit once I did. Which is more, I was the teacher! I worked on a translation throughout the night and went to school next morning. I remember, I had my pupils read some texts and by listening to their monotonous quiet voice I slowly fell asleep sitting at my desk in front of them. I struggled to keep my eyes open so I was sleeping with open eyes staring blank at my class. I can but hope they did not notice what I was playing at.
