High School or College?

Hello there mylotters...
I'm just wondering... For you guys, Which do you consider more fun at? When you were in High School or when you are in college? For me, I don't consider them both as fun... When I was in High School, all I did was to eat my books, I never had a picnic with my classmates, never been to any birthday parties since my parents won't allow me and i only have on close friend that also just eat books everyday... lol..
Now that I'm in college, it's not really fun too... coz I really need to study... and of course you don't have permanent classmates than when i was in high school... every semester, you see new faces... you don't talk to each other, it's like you go in class, sit there, lend your ears to the teacher, after one hour, stand up, leave the room.. then that routine repeats everyday... i feel like my life is boring... i tried to write a journal, but i stopped it, coz nothing new has been added to it... i do same activities everyday..lol... but now, i'm trying to change it, and make my life to have a sense...

i feel high school is good but college is a lot better . Being a guy is better than being a boy for me. It's the teenage that starts then we get to meet girls and have dates. It's also the age were our real talent comes out and shows itself. We have a chance to prove to others what we really are. SO college is in a way better.

I think college was more fun for me because I had more freedom in college. When I was in highschool, my parents were very strict and i never went out at night or even had a sleep over. SO i think college is the best because of more freedom. Freedom of choice, freedom on clothes, freedom on time and just freedom.

I think being in college is more fun for me. Though there is more work to do, there is also more fun things to do and more freedom. The professors doesn't require you to go to classes all the time, you're no longer living with your parents and the library is very nice (at my college anyways but I think all college libraries are better than high school libraries). But the work is really much harder though.

For me it is primary school, middle school, colleges and universities, i have studied in different schools and different places in my country, similarly i have taught for over 40 years in different college..
Fun was more in primary school..

My high school life is not enjoy. When I was in highschool, my parents were very strict college is the best because of more freedom. I like my college life and enjoy it. Good day...

I think collage life because in collage there won be very strict like school life.Most of the collage student are spoiled due to their beehive in the collage.It is not that they can enjoy in collage but at the same time they need to do their own duty on time.I don't mean that they should strict on their study but they can enjoy..........

I think High School is way better than College for the same reason as yours. You don't have permanent friends during your College tenure and it becomes a routine, and life becomes boring if you won't be able to see your real friends at all. I guess all the fun memories stay in high school. Where I had lots of crushes and puppy loves, where I shared lots of boisterous laughters with my classmates that I can actually talk to unlike in College and where I found my real friends... That high school feeling never ends. And I miss it.

In my case, I think both them were fun. But I think college has more fun, because when I was in high school. I had to studied a lot and suffer the pressure of taking college entrance examinations, while in college I had much more free time to do the things I liked. I listened to lectures on various topics. I learned how to make artificial flowers by myself. I enjoyed my college life greatly.

In high school most time I study hard because I wanna go to good college.Sometime play with my classmates doing exercise outside. I felt high pressure in usual test in high school.
Well in college I feel relax that I donot need study hard everyday and often had a picnic and travel and have fun with my classmates. I donot need to get high score in the examination,only passed which will be ok.
So I prefer to in college. Hope your life will be fun in the future.

i went to an all-girls high school. i can say my circle of friend in HS is bigger than in college so i have more fun memories of high school days.

I had both fun in high school and college although with a different level of course. When I was in high school, of course much younger, I was able to go out with my friends already,it was just a clean fun, eating together in one of my friends house or swimmning of course with the permission of my parents. Anyway they knew the place where I was going then. During college, it was different fun. Even if the studies became tougher I still enjoyed it because I got to know different types of people and learned a lot from them.

for me high school is the best i experience a lot of things in my high school days..
i met my 3 best friend during that time,,and also i have gain friends(barkadas)that i can not forget,,we go drinking,hang out(tambay),taking laughing,teasing..then come the love life on high school life,(actually i lost my virgnity during my high school days),first crush,first bf..so fr me high school is the best,,for the info i graduated in high school and i got in collge

back in high it so so fun like everyday is not like school day but its like more of games and enjoyment. my classmates and friends used to hang up in the park after the class for some chitchats and games, filipino games like, tumbang preso, sipa, patintero and more...
in college it was more of a seroius thing coz its a matter for our future but i still enjoyed it coz my friends and i used to spend our time to relieve the stress from school in a mature way. like hanging in the clubs or go out for some group outing.
in short, i enjoyed both and i couldnt replace the experience and the fun that i have!

Hi Fheroan,
For me, it's when I'm in High School because I'm still seeing my classmates from High School. Comparing to my College friends, i don't know where they are. I can still remember when I and few of my classmates we're called by the guidance office because we didn't attend our economics subject. So every time when my high school friends and i met, it's one of the best topics we've been laughing at!

hello fheroan.....its a nice topic......i am an engineering student....so for me also college is a fun.....but in college all faces are new for me and everything as u described above......it depends on us to attend the lecture or not.....but i will get detained for less attendance in my college and university 75% attendance is compulsory.......for me this college life is boring...because no one is gonna punish u ...no one is gonna argue with u...no one is there with whom u will fight in class for no reason....those school days will never come back.....i would to get back to school
