What does the movies sucking have anything to do with whether she's a good author? So what you're saying is that you liked the books, but you don't like the movies so she's a bad author? That really makes no sense to me at all.

I'm saying she sucks as an author, that she got lucky the books became movies. That the movies are even worse, the actors are horible and robert is a bum on and off set.

i used to love it for some reason, they were the 1st books i read by choice. Now that i read i other things. i see the vairity i noticed that her books arent good at all. When your reading a book for the 1st time by choice, not that the school made you, your going to like it because your opened minded, but after you read that book and you read other things that thought might change, thats what happened to me.

I haven't actually watched them.... but one thing is for sure.... Every book I have read that has been made into a movie is always better than the movie.... there is no way they can comprise all the things needed to give the book justice..... Maybe if you like her books you should just keep reading instead of watching or vice versa

Probably because in books they can put everything into detail. But even so, they can still make it a great movie to watch. Unfortunately this one not that.

I hate twilight also. I hate it because its not beautiful simple as that. I think its kinda exagerrated, "over", and not beautiful.. Well thats only my opinion.. Never really liked it. I dont like the story and I dont like the lead actress... I like Harry Potter better... This movie is just a waste of time... so much drama.. dont know how to describe it.. Its not interesting enough..

I agree. the movie is a waste of time and money for thoughs that go see them. Its crazy how people get to go watch them, if they were to analize it they would see they suck too.

No, she is not a "great" author, but she has made a fortune from these books. You have to remember the age group these books are geared to....teens.
However, I find the storyline intriguing. And believe me, I am not a teenager. lol.
I will not see the new Eclipse movie the first day it comes out. I don't want to deal with all the screaming teens...I will wait till after the holiday, but believe me, I will see it.

I think the same too, I think the books are only ok and not as fabulous as people make them out to be, it's all media and promotional hype, the same with the films, it's great to get excited and join in with the hype, but when you go to see the film, it's a bit disappointing because you expect and wish for so much with the hype...I've just seen Eclipse and thought it would be better then the first two, but again, it's only just ok, I think I find the second film better actually...
