Don't you just hate it when people say things they don't mean? Like they are just saying things at the moment to pleased you or they are just saying it because they don't want you to be annoyed or angry with them. Wasn't it similar to simply lying and fooling someone?

Hi,
Yes I absolutely agree. Most of us say pleasing things because we want to achieve something from a particular person. One who doesn't have any ulterior motif will not say affected words. Some of us try hard to be pleasant, but this insincere efforts always surfaces. The person they are talking to may be gullible enough to digest stuffs, but not all people are like that, and it feels awkward when such insincere efforts are exposed naked in forefront. Really uncomfortable. So its better to leave out the entire acting part. Lets be sincere even in our hatred. There is no heroism in these cloak and dagger approach. We really don't have to show empathy if we don't feel it from within. That actually makes the matter worse. Thanks.
God bless you
