Can I delete a discussion I start?

Hi, mylotters. I wonder if I can delete a discussion that I started before with no reply. If I can, then how to do so? Thanks in advance.

I don't think we can delete a discussion regardless of it has replies or not. Only the admin can delete discussions depending on if that post violated any of the guidelines. We're not even allowed to edit our discussion once it is already submitted which is too bad. P.S: I responded to your 0 response discussions to stop you from worrying about it. Happy mylotting.

:) Ahha, thank you. I'm not bothered by the fact that having started a discussion with on one replying, actually. I just think that if there's no reply, maybe we ourselves can decide whether keep it or not.

That's the thing here in mylot. We can't edit it once we posted it already. Its just final and we just have to deal about it. Though mylot admin considers deleting your post if you posted the same thing multiple times unintentionally. that's the good part. Alas, I for one would think that way if my started discussions doesn't receive a response at all. See y'all around.

Hi banban! This is what I got from the FAQs. Not sure if this is what you want to know about, that is deleting a discussion with no reply, started by you. Honestly I'm not sure because I've not tried. Check the link under FAQs Abuse: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq16.aspx . Quote "How do I delete my own posts? If you made an error in posting and need your post deleted, use the report abuse system to notify us." Seeya!

we cant delete any discussion..this right is bestowed to the authority only..we cant edit our any discussion,response, or comment once we have posted

you can't delete any of your discussions yourself, as the admins are the only ones who can. Now, if it is just a case of not getting any responses, then just let your friends know so that they can respond to it. Only if it is a violation will the admins delete it. It is hard to know when you start discussions if they will get responses or not. I thinki lots of others have been down that road. I will say that I haven't, thank goodness, but I am sure it is frustrating when no one replies at all. What seems like a good discussion to you just isn't for others. now u know you cant delete discussion , but i think u can close by marking best response to anyone

When you award the Best Response the discussionis not 'closed'. Discussions go on and on and we can continue to respond on them even after the BR has been awarded. They are never 'closed'.
