I have seen a lot of friends with body piercings. I don't know how they can actually do that. They take a lot of pain which having these piercings. But they don't seem to mind. Personally i tried putting on rings on day. I was scared and shaking so badly that i didn't force myself to do that. I have seen people with navel rings, tattoos, ear rings, and they all look cool. But i do have have to admire their guts and their willingness. I am amazed by such people. What do you think?

It does look extremely painful, but many of my friends have body piercing. They have tattoos as well. Despite the fact that I know it hurts to get done, I've often found myself contemplating getting a tattoo or piercing of some kind. Nothing overly obnoxious or stupid....like a facial tattoo.... Just something simple. But whether I could take the pain or not; can't answer that one. Probably not. :P

@vastari: I've fund myself contemplating too. My only worry if that if I get a tattoo, that I'm going to hate it years later and not have enough money to get it removed. If I were to get a tattoo though, it'd have to hold some meaning to me, not something random.
I do like piercings though, but not just the normal ones. I guess I like that because those aren't permanent, like tattoos.

it actually looks gangster to hav a body piercing mainly on the ear!!but my mom gonna slice me into 2 if i get any part of my body pierced...tho i love it and my heart tends to beat faster wen i see some1 else pierced and feel sad that it wasnt me....

I have two piercings in my ears, but that's about it. To be honest, they really didn't hurt that much. It almost felt like a small pinch. What really amazes me though, is the people who get strange places pierced. Like their genitals, or nipples, or their tongue. Those areas are sensitive and I bet they hurt five times worse than getting a nose or ear piercing. Yikes!
I am even afraid of tattoos but they do piercings, I can't myself.

I have seen those kind of people too but not much. I think they just try to be different from others. But when I see their body piercings, I will feel as if the pain were on my body. This is strange but I do not know why. So I just do like to see this peole.

Yes I think that some people are very brave to have these piercings and such. Me personally I have my ears pierced, and my nose, but nothing else. To be honest I don't wear a nose stud any more. I do have a couple of tattoos though, but I wouldn't have any more done, not because of the pain, but because I feel no need to be covered in them, what I have is ample.

I think it's a sort of achieving something. Or being able to withstand physical pain. Some people consider it as art, in a way it's artistically done. However I know a few people who have been addicted to tattooing and piercing their bodies, they looked more of a graffiti wall with a built-in emery bag!

Some people do express their feelings or personal sentiments in life by different ways. Some people prefer having a tattoo in their body and some also wanted to have a body piercing but it depends on how they feel. Personally, its too painful for to have those. But since its their personal preference, I do respect them and understand the reason behind those artworks. We just cant deny that some people immediately judge them as addicts or something weird. But for me, I do admire their courage in showing what they feel and what they want to show inside. Yeah, its painful but after all its worthy to know that you've done something satisfying for yourself.

For me it's hurt and pain to do piercing whether in ear,nose or our body.
Maybe they need to be different from others so they do body piercing and tatto.
Honestly, I don't dare to do piercing or tatto in my body and I'm fine for who am I know.

Piercing really hurt for me based on my experience.I like seeing people that have lots of pierce on thier ears and some people have pierce on thier tongue,nose and eyebrows.But when it comes to me its a no no i only have one pierce on each ear lol.And it really took me a while to think if i will gonna have to pierce my ear or not.

Tattoos are a good thing but I hate piercings , pain is less but have it. I have tattoo of lion and I remember first time when I going in tattoo studio I was very scared. Today I think to make other tattoo of my right leg and when i make it will write here again.
