i'm in China.the price of houses here is quite unacceptable for a majority of people. so do you think it is better to buy a house by tens of years of hard work or just to rent one?

Well my friend I have no idea on the price range their in your country. But If you would work for your house it would be greater if you are paying to buy it rather than pay renting someone elses house. Why not go for a bongalo type of house that can shelter a family of up 5 and I hope its not too expensive.. And while ou are working you know that you are paying for YOUR house..

well ,it is about 700 dollars per square metres in a middle-developed city ,that is ,you will spend 70 000 or so to buy a house . it is not easy for most of the Middle-earned workers for it is about 15years of hard work,ONLY for the house. and by the way ,what does 'bongalo' mean?

So your planning to buy a 100 square meter house. Which for me really is fairly big. And for a single child policy in China (assuming it's still in effect) thats too big for a family of 3. I recommend you to buy 50 Square Meter house instead. If that 700 dollars per square includes the land then it maybe a good deal for you. Specially if you can get it in installment mode. A bungalow is a one floor house. I think you have to aim for the house that you can really afford. Instead of paying fr rent every month for how many years? And still you cant say it's yours and the owner can kick you out anytime they want.

Well I always think its better to buy a house then rent and pay someone elses mortgage. Especially if the rent and the mortgage payment is around the same. You are then throwing money down the drain by renting. Now its different if you don't want to deal with taking care of a home. Its a lot of work but if you love your home you will feel its worth it in the end.

yes i believe you have to buy a house than just rent. i am now renting at 7k a month its a lot really instead of me paying a monthly fee for a house of my own. bought a house before but it was really far away from work and the cost of travel is too much so i gave it to my brother, however my brother did not bother to pay it for a year, then bank bought it back =(. i just threw almost 200k . when buying a house, you have to be committed.
