My husband and I worked at the same department. My boss talked to my husband about work problems with me instead of talking straight to me. He said that he doesn't know how to talk to me and just advise my husband to pass the message. If you're in my situation, how would you feel and react?

Maybe you should go directly to your boss and tell him you don't respond to indirect messages; and if he has something to say to you, he should say it directly to you. You might also ask that if he can say the words to your husband, why is it so difficult to say those same words to you? Does this boss have a thing for you, or have you argued with him in the past so that he doesn't want to deal with you any longer? There has to be a reason why he won't speak directly to you.

wow, i thought imbecile and good-fof-nothing bosses only existed and spain, but i see that also exists on other places. about the problem, you should tell your boss that if he have some kind of problem with you he must tell you directly, you husband is not a messenger

This is very unprofessional for your boss to be doing this. I would also venture a guess that it is also against company policy for your boss to be talking to another employee about a problem he is having with you, even if this person is your husband. I would ask for a meeting with the boss and let him know that I did not appreciate his actions and inform him that if he has a problem he needs to come directly to you. If he keeps doing what he is currently doing after you have met with him, I would consider going to the HR department and talking to them.

Sounds unprofessional to me. If that's how he treats every employee who have work problems, then he'd better hire a spokesperson.
