Are people aware how little article revenue share sites pay out?

I have been recommending that people sign up with article revenue share sites. Not any more. I have just done a test with 14 articles posted to each of three sites; Wikinut, Bukisa and Xomba. I wrote three articles on each of 14 subjects and posted them to these three sites. After 1 week Wikinut articles earned 1.9 pence - between them all! After 1 week Bukisa articles earned 22 US cents After 1 week my Xomba articles earned me nothing at all Wikinut only pay one hundredth of a British penny for each view, Bukisa pays about one tenth of a US cent per view and Xomba puts my Adsense ads up next to the article half the time. I have now closed my Wikinut account and would recommend anyone else to do the same. Are there any more sites out there that only pay PTC rates for writing articles. I think it is time writers stood up for themselves and walked away from all these exploitative website owners. Are there any 'straight' decent article revenue share sites out there? I have heard good things about Info Barrel and certainly 75-90% my ads on the articles sounds attractive

Hi Phil I think i'm wth workingmum on this one. I only post articles that i can't sell elsewhere. something is better than nothing. though i did get to 0.019 and it seems to have gone down to 0.015? odd! If you can repost blog articles as someone told me then i could certainly up my content amount!

No, here we disagree. I am fine earning tiny amounts as long as there is some growth potential, but 2p a week forget it. My bandwidth to upload the articles costs me more than that.

Hey Phil, I am new in this virtual world you live in. I have noticed that you are one of those who have been sharing ideas and leads to neophytes like me. I have added you as one of my friends here .. please accept my invitation. I would like to read your posts articles and learn from it. My name is Maria and originally I am from Philippines. I live in Dubai for more than 10 years now. I have a Filipina friend who is working as nurse but writing ebooks on her free time and she's earning a fortune. I would like to try if I can do what she is doing but I think its a natural talent that you and her are blessed with. Anyway got to be going and hope you will be one of my friends here in MyLot. Catch you later :-))

I always treat my articles as source of passive income. I get to write them once and yet continue to earn from those in the months, years to come. That's the whole idea that I want to embrace. I think a few dollars out of those articles are fair enough because I only write whenever I'm free and whenever I feel like writing. Some of my articles had given me earnings more than what I have envisioned. Probably the reason why I'm satisfied is because I don't have that high expectations towards my works.
