I used to have a contract of 3 yrs for my cellphone and it was over 3 weeks ago. So i went back to the store to renew my contract as its a very good deal. I used to have a Samsung (cant remember the number) and now I picked another Samsung but different from the first one. With my first cell, I had to charge my phone every night and if I talked more than 30 mins, the battery would be dead. The cell I have now has a great battery but I hate the phone. Could I switch the battery in phone 2 to phone 1 and could I also switch the sim card? Does anyone know?

LOL. Calling Bell is like trying to call the moon, you cant get an answer and I dont feel like going to the store. The guy was in such a bad mood when we went to renew our contract....he was because we have a special price for being civil servants......I guess he didnt get any commission. I wanted to try calling to complain but I dont want to get angry. I'll try it this weekend and I'll let you know if it explodes or not haha. Thanks.....i know you dont offer any warranty!!

The battery of course has to be the same shape and size of the original battery - it's not enough that they're both labelled as 'Samsung' As for exchanging the SIM, you can move the active SIM from one cell phone to the next but not exchange them - only one SIM can be active on a cell number at a time. On your new phone - check to make sure that GPS and Bluetooth are turned off when you're not using them, and Wifi should be off too, if your phone supports it and you're not using it. Check the display menu to see if you cant lower the amount of time you backlight is on, your screen brightness, or your key backlight. Many times these phones come with all the settings turned on, and it'll rob you of battery life quickly.

Ive turned off anything I dont use. GPS is off, bluetooth, low blacklight. Anything I can do to save my battery I did already. I know that one sim card can work at a time. I just want to use my older phone as I liked it better. It had bad reception though so Im wondering if that might have been because of the poor battery I had in there. Well I'll try it out this weekend and fingers crossed its going to work. Thank you!!

If you're within your return period, see if you can't exchange it at the store you bought it. Good luck!

It really depends if the battery of your phone 2 fits or is the same battery as your phone 1. Try to remove both batteries of phone 1 and 2 and compare both names of the batteries. If the battery has different MODEL names, then I guess its better to ask your phone manufacturer if its compatible or not because it may cause damage to your phone. Best of luck
