Have you ever noticed that cell phones tend to have problem towards the end to the two year contract. I use to work with a major cell phone provider in customer service. I found that people started to have problems with their phones when it got close to the end of their contract. I wonder if they design the phones to fail after two years. What do you think?

Well, in my case I didn't have problems with my phone when it's nearing the end of my contract. When I first went postpaid, my first contract was for 3 years and until now, that phone is still functional, except for the battery which drains easily so I had it changed. My second contract lasted for 2 years, and like my first phone, the second one is still functional. I'm now into my third contract so both phones are with my family. I think it would also have something to do with how people handle their phones. And in general, things depreciate in time. So it's expected that problems crop up after a long time. Just my two cents.
