Taking Flexeril

I have been prescribed Flexeril for a torn calf muscle about two months ago. I take 10 mg. three times a day. I am also taking 1 mg. Ativan three times a day. Taking both has been a challenge as it makes me dizzy, fuzzy brained, and extremely tired. So tired my eyes burn most of the day. I'm not quite sure why I would even need to take the Flexeril anymore. My doctor says to take the remainder and then I will be done. Well, that's about two weeks away and I am so tired of being tired. As someone that has allot of house work, takes care of many animals and makes sure not to neglect my human family that seems to need me to survive themselves, I believe on some levels is beginning to ruin me. I cannot wake up in the morning, make coffee and get the day started with the usual ease. It takes me a good whole hour to actually wake up even when I drink coffee. I'm just wondering if anyone you there has had any experience with Flexeril good or bad.

Herro headrickwife Yes, I have had experience with Flexeril. Doctors have prescribed for back spasms, muscle spasms, etc. The purpose of flexeril is to relax you so your muscles can heal. It is designed to make you relaxed so blood can flow to injured muscles. It is best if you rest the injury. Your dr must think you still need the medication to complete healing. I would question mixing the ativan and flexeril. Each independently is a relaxer, so both would be very difficult to manage.I'm not sure my response helped you...however? Prosperous mylotting
