Given a chance, what would you ask your president to do?

In the next two days the newly elected President of the Philippines, Noynoy Aquino will be taking over office. The Philippines will have a new leader. Finally, a new leader after 9 years of despair. As a citizen, I didn't really feel the improvement in our economy like what the outgoing President boasts. It seemed that instead of an improve life, its become more and more difficult to have a decent living. There had been a few increases in the wage, yes. But the rise in prices of the basic needs such that of food, electricity, gasoline, water and shelter were even more frequent. If given a chance, I will ask our President to make more projects that will really benefit our people. I will ask him to create a project that will really create more jobs that will improve our economy. For instance, in Australia, their government once allocated AU$1200 per qualified home as funds for a project they had that aimed to lessen their carbon emissions by building greener homes simply by having insulation a standard in an Australian home. It helped them create more jobs as well as improved their way of living. Instead of our president spending too much of the country's money on luxurious travels and meetings, I think they should give a good think on how they can help us. How about you, what would you ask your president to do?

i have one simple question... but i demand an honest answer... are you here for power, wealth, popularity or public service? i dont know what politicians really want... because honestly if you want to help your community or our country you dont need to run for office... example... throw your waste where its supposed to be... help those who needed help.. abide traffic rules.. simple things... BIG DIFFERENCE! good day to all!!

That's hard to anwser but fun to think about. I don't think I could do a job that important. I guess I would not really ask our president to do anything. I would tell him to stop worrying so much about trying to please everyone. It will never happen, there is to many selfish pepole and most pepole rezuest what benifits them most. I would most likly just say do your job, do what you think is best. It won't fix everything and it will only make half the country like you and the other half hate you no matter what you do anyway. stop being pretty get your hands dirty and do your job. Guess thats all I would have to say?
