I highly doubt it, since you cannot even patent them. Without a patent anybody can call it their own and put it to use. However, if you are talking about more abstract things such as a specific design or a process that you can patent, see if you can patent it and then sell the rights to it. Patenting costs money though, so there would be mo point in that.
