My understanding is that assassinated means a political murder,I am not sure but it seems to me that all the people assassinated have been politicians or something to do with politics

i really wouldnt know and really until u posted this i hadnt given it much thought.... i would imagine that u have to be pretty important considering the people i can think of that have been mentioned as assassinated... as in president kennedy and lincold, martin luther king even john lennon

they gotta be important enough that they can influence people either by direct or indirect action and that their influence means change of some sort that others are against. they get knocked off so they can't be influential anymore.
