The robotical voice like in Kanye West's "Heartless" where the rapper sounds like a robot. Whats its called?

they use some software like autotune. you can search youtube for it and such. this is some of the people with no voice talent suddenly gets better.

yeah it's just an auto-tuned voice, it like automatically fixes pitch.

you can even do that with the simplest software possible there was a software that ive seen about 6 yrs ago called talk it that mimics what ever is typed in it its similar to that right

I haven't heard the song yet, but I'm pretty certain it is auto-tune like others have said. The rapper T-pain pretty much uses auto-tune on every song he does, so if the Kanye West song sounds anything like what the rapper T-pain releases, then it's probably auto-tune that West is using in that song as well.

I think that it is most likely just an auto tune program (like the other users have said). They could have also added some sort of filter over top to make the rapper's voice have more of an electronic robotic sound.

I think It's a vocoder that gives that particular "robotic" sound - I thought auto-tune was for vocals that still sound "natural" (if that makes sense).
