anyone who's familiar with this song? this is already an old song and i come to like it since the first time i hear it...i guess its way back in my highschool years. its just that i don't hear it much these days unless when it is played during sunday classic songs. this is something that really gives me some joy while listening to it, i love the story of the song and its lyrics as well and of course the way they sang it.

I like the melody of the song, as well as the voices in it.. haha =D HIs deep voice goes so well with the woman's voice.. hehe ^_^ I think i have heard a similiar song before, but it's not sung by him/them.. hehe
I have always love old songs, but not as old as these though.. lol =D MOst old songs i like, are mainly in the 80s, or oldest being in the 70s.. hehe ^_^ I like old songs, as they are really pure, straight forward with meaningful lyrics in them.. haha =D

well, when i was in highschool my mom has a habit of listening to the radio every morning and there's a certain day when her favorite station is playing old songs, and there i was able to hear this song and the rest of old songs that i like. i don't actually know the their title at first but they are all in my mind and so when i have a chance i do search for their titles. hehe
i find arthur's theme a nice song and i just come to know the title just recently even if i have liked it for a long time. haha

generally i love old songs, and listen to them from time to time. :) a long, extremely long playlist if i mention the songs i really like :)

yeah! that's really an old song already and i guess i was not even born when that song was released. i just find the song cute...and i like the sudden turn of events in the song!

oh, those were nice selection. i also like those from carpenters, and songs from bread. john denver's songs are also remarkable. and that she's always a woman to me is also a good one. really there's a lot of beautiful old songs out there, i guess they are a lot better than the new one now.

I like that song,and i like the story of it.
There's a good lesson from that song.
Not to under estimate love and age.
Age doesn't matter when it comes to love.
Some people think that,young people can not love truly,that young people are just playing with love.
But,sometimes,younger ones are more matured than older ones.
Age is not a basis when it comes to love,for the heart doesn't age with time.

anyway, you are right, in love age doesn't matter. hehe and besides in the song, joni & jimmy only have 7 years gap if i am not mistaken...just like me and my husband!

Hi! Im very much familiar with this old song because my close friend during my high school years was so in love with this song and she kept on singing this again and again inside our classroom. She somehow dedicated this song to his long time crush for she felt that this song was exactly for her and her crush that time!. When i came to hear that song playing over the radio that time, i realize that its not just an old song, but a nice song with nice message too. Simple, but could really touch the hearts of those who are in love especially those who could place themselves in the case of Jimmy and Joni in that wonderful song.

see, i am also like your friend, hehe coz i am also in highschool when i started to like this song. really, the first time i hear it, it already strikes me and i feel something in my heart! actually even till now i feel like a teenage girl whenever i hear this song. lol!
wow, those were nice songs, and i also like the break it to me gently song as well as better days. actually i agree with you, that old songs are more meaningful and more soothing. and there's really a lot of very good old songs to eenjoy. oldies but goodies!

I also like this song. I heard this from my mom and dad since I was young. They were singing this song, while my dad is playing the guitar while singing and my mom too. That's why I love this song because I miss the old times when my parents are still together.
I also like the beat, the melody and the story of this song. It's a typical love story of a young lady who fell in love with an older guy.

i love this song!!!!!!!!!!! its a very warm and touching song that can hit home on some people...this song is awesome and can sometimes bring tears to people eyes.. when i listen to it i cant stop ill play it over and over again lol..... the other songs i like is before the next teardrop falls by freddie fender.... very sad song one of my dads fav songs..... (R.I.P DADDY)I LISTEN TO THIS SONG WHEN ME AND MY HUBBY GETS INTO A FIGHT CUZ I KNOW IF MY DADDY WAS STILL ALIVE HE WOULD BE BY MYSIDE....also red river valley... that was my g-pa's song(R.I.P G-pa) theres alot more.. that i like but i cant remember them all cuz all the songs where way before my time but i grew up on them cuz of my daddy....
