read the instructions on the package or time it for 3-5 minutes but dont over cook it because that makes pasta even more starchy.

I poke it with a fork to figure it out. It has always worked for me, and after you do it a few times, you get kind of used to how "it should feel" and can judge it easier. Try it, it is really the easiest way if you just get the hang of it!

so if it is still hard to poke then it is to be cooked further...

Hi, amazingcomm. When the pasta is very soft and loose then that is when it is fully cooked. You can tell just by looking at the texture of it.

Formee it´s easy. I pick one with a spoon and try it. I like my pasta "al dente" wich doesn´t mean I like it raw. You must check out also how do you like them. Usually kids like them better cooked than grownups. Happy posting!

It is very easy to pasta, wen it is ready it should be tender but still firm when you eat it, this is called "al dente." To make sure that it is ready, bite into the pasta , but what you have to remember is that it will continue to cook and soften even after it has been taken from the water.

cook your pasta noodles as per package directions...most pasta brands recommend cooking it for 11 minutes in briskly boiling water. Check your noodles for doneness by cutting the noodle and if you don'tsee a white uncooked portion in the center of your noodle, turn-off fire immediately and drain the water. Pour cold running water on the noodles and put 2 tbsp oil to prevent sticking. Hope this helps.

To know whether it's cook or not just press the pasta if it's soft already or try biting it slightly.
