How Could I Ignore the Effect of That Blue Colored Stapler? Should I Return It?

And it happens so often with me. The moment I think, ah, everything will be in shape henceforth, as things might have been going at a great pace right at that point. All my 'To do' list will be vanishing eventually. And I'll have time to RELAX and REJOICE a little more. And then it happens! And then it will happen just when I think I'm in full control over my work. Today it started with a BLUE colored stapler. Someone refused to accept that because of the color 'blue' representing 'Saturn', being directed by color therapy! Sound stupid? But I too got afraid. Anyway, there was no alternative for me. I had to accept that 'blue' colored version. And the evening started in its typical troublesome way. The broadband was gone, the server, I have been working for many days, also just stopped responding even when the Internet connection was back. And responses to my mylot discussion were getting queued. Oops! No way to get rid of the evil effect. I know lot of you will call it 'superstition'. But there is something with those colors, the way that person denied accepting that particular stapler, and the way I had to accept that rejected stapler without any alternative. Do they really have evil influence in the way we think? Does destiny force us to accept things likewise? Should I return that 'blue' colored stapler? Still confused. Please help!
