emotion expression

emotions - about emotions, laugh, positive emotions

I learned from textbook that in general, Americans show more of their emotions and feelings than Asians do. I agree with this. But the book also says that: Americans show less of their feelings than South Americans or people from southern European countries or the Middle East. I don't think so. What's your opinion?

Both these statements are equally true! I am an Asian. My way of living is more followed by wisdom than emotion. Though emotion is an essential element in life, I must say that decissions in life are to be made by wisdom, not by emotion. Feelings is another term that equally relates to wisdom and emotion. It is the individual decission that selects the priority among these two! Thanks for this nice discussion and have great wisdom!!
