2012... end of the world???

My friend just told me that the world will end in 2012. He let me watched a documentary and scientific explanation about it. I'm 20% convinced and because of my curiosity I made a research on the internet and many internet users, bloggers and news site provides a scientific and detailed information. I'm still 50% convinced for now, do you also believe?

The world may end anytime. That's why we all should be prepared. For all we know, it may be tomorrow or next week.
I think it was Nostradamus who predicted the world's end in 2012. Is that correct?

I don't believe that 2012 is the end of the world. Nobody can predict what will happen tomorrow. Do you still remember in the past there was prediction and said that the world would be ended in 1999? At last, nothing happened. This time it is the same.

May be world is not ending, May be some NUTS want to start world war 3 and they are doing propaganda on name of 2012.
what isreal is doing in ghaza, what america is doing in afghanistan and iraq. Why they dont let those innocent peoples live in peace. They want to rule whole world and preparing grounds for a new war. creating mis-undertsanding among religions. using media.
This world is not going to end in 2012. America and Isreal is not GOD. This world will end only when GOD wants.

There's nothing special about 2012. It's another year. There is a lot of mysticism and myth behind it because of a certain calendar, but the odds of it ending there are the odds of the world ending tomorrow. From a pure statistical standpoint, there's a 0% chance of it happening.
