I don't think many people are aware and are willing to change their usual habits to conserve the energy and give mother nature a break. If they are, why aren't they giving away tips on how to save more gasoline or stop the production of plastics and other chemicals that are harmful to the environment. Fact is, the more products are needed, the more jobs are created. I wish environmentalists would at least release useful info on how to customize your engine to take in half used cooking oil and half crude oil to lower gasoline usage like an uncle of mine did with his own car engine. If the authorities will provide the knowledge, I'm sure people will be willing to follow. Who doesn't want to save money?

I agree. Most of the energy we use destroy the earth. I want to use solar enery for some of our household appliances. I just don't know how. I've searched the internet but most of the products that are available is in other countries. Some are available locally but is very expensive.

I think we need to use the energy wisely. Like we must use rainwater harvesting to save water and solar energy for electricity and also try to use stoves that burns the leaves and small woods that lie in the ground to save resources for the future.

The economy dictates much of what is been done, and what technology is available for us to use. Believe it or not, the gasoline/electric hybrid technology already existed around the time the car was invented. And is only until the recently that it was "reintroduced". If those big corporates can make huge gain on oil, unclean electricity. They would have no reason to want us to have free energy. If every car runs on electricity entirely, then who needs gasoline anymore? The corporates' interests will be threatened, and you can be sure they will do everything in their power to stop you from getting the free energy. The techonology for clean environment has already been developed, but the powerholders are keeping them from us. They want to make us depended on the wasteful way of living, and not have the freedom to live the life it was meant to be a long time ago. Is a sad fact that our world is running on the basis of financial interest, and not the very environment that is keeping us alive. It will only be too late when they decide is time to "go green".

I also think green and saving of fuel should be done by most people. I think one of the best way to make mother nature conserve energy is to plant trees and plants. Lots of people does not have enough place for gardening. They can go for terrace gardening. This will helps to decrease the hot climate to cool climate. Solar energy is one of the best way to save energy. I hope that solar home system price comes down and there are subsidies in the solar energy.
