Children's Story

I have written a children's story, and now I am stuck and have many questions...what do I do next? How do I find an illustrator? What are the best self-publishing packages/sites? I seem to be frozen in indecision, and welcome any comments/suggestions as to the next step. Thanks!

You can post a discussion in the "People" interest page in search for a illustrator maybe? I've searched the net and this could possibly help you http://www.tammyyee.com/illustrator.html For a self publishing site you could go here! http://www.iuniverse.com/ Now that's all. :D Goodbye!! Congrats on writing a children's story and finishing it! :D Good day!

To admin: I'm not promoting the sites. :D I'm just helping the discussion starter. :D

Thank you for this information! I will take a look at the sites. I have the problem of not being able to afford money upfront to participate in some of the self publishing companies that are out there.

Oh sure sure! But the website I gave you for self publishing is real expensive! If you want one for free you can go to www.i-proclaim.com It's free. :D

I'd personally build a website (blog with a shopping cart maybe) and work to promote it. Self publish the book and keep 100% of the profit! You can easily format it to an ebook-friendly style and let everyone download for a low, low fee of $29.99! You could probably find a good illustrator, but I'd just as soon find some free images and save the money. Good luck!
