Do you think animal testing is cruel. Some people believe that "God created Animals for us", Animal is a play thing for a people. As per my personal opinion Life is life no matter whether animal or human.Human being is not only the superior species on earth.I personally do not supports testing cosmetics products, cleaning products and all other stuff. Medicine testing is okay up to some extent but it should not result in hurting animal. what do you think? do you agree with testing on animals?

NO! I don't agree with testing medicines even on animals. It is very cruel, they handle the animals for this purpose. I have heard that the scientists tests some products on rabbits or rats eyes. The poor creatures suffer all those pains for the welfare of mankind? In some advanced countries, (in America), I have heard that they test some medicines on the soldiers without their concern. That is still cruel.

yes i support your saying that life is life, animals have life just like us and imagine having done unto us what we did onto animals, we wouldnt like that wouldnt we? and No animals shouldnt be used for testing medicine because animals have different immune system from us. it would hurt them in different ways it might hurt us. so one again, i disagree on animals being used as test subjects for medicine.

well there is humanely testing them and there is the inhumane. In tv, activist and will always just see the inhumane side of animal testing. Animals are "put down" when the suffering is high and such. well for an alternative part, well we cannot do it to plants because we are biologically different to them. And we cannot do it to humans because well you know... Well might as well we cant do it to computers and such lol. as long as it is dong in a humane way and for the betterment of humanity then i think they should use animals for testing. and yes, i have used animals for research. The inhumane way and the humane way

I don't have a definite answer for this. Especially when I look around my home and found that there are so many products that simply can't be made if animal trials are not allowed. Sure, I hope animal trials won't be needed but the truth is without them, our lives would probably be so much different.

I agree with you basically.I support aninal test for medicine which wouldnot cause huge harm to the animal.I think mankind could test medicine on sicked patients who is voluntary to accept risk paid test.

I am COMPLETELY and UTTERLY against animal testing. It is not okay to just try stuff on animals and potentially hurt them because we are to afrad to try on humans. Have you ever seen the PETA or animal cruelty videos on youtube? These animals are bruised, scabbed, bloody, this isnt fair for a poor animal to not have a voice to tell us they are being hurt, and to stop. People just keep going and doing their testing, its not fair, maybe they should test them out on humans first, it would be a harsh reality what damage were doing to animals if a few humans would endure that.

Yes I do think it's o.k. to test it on animals; such as checking different types of diseases & pills that may hinder or cure. I would also remind you that not only animals are tested, but many humans volunteer for clinical trials as well. cd

I understand your emotions for animals. But we have not much options. We cant test it on humans atleast. So we have to test it on animals. God has made animals for us only. If we can ride on them, if we can take hard work from them, if we can eat them so why we cant test medicines for them. But it should not mean that we become rude and merciless with them. Surely God has made us superior to them but we should take this responsibility nicely. We should take good care of them. Testing medicine is just justified because we cant test them on humans.

Just because we can't hear animals complain there isn't any. What is Science if Science cannot find a suitable alternative?

The answer SHOULD be 'no', the reality is otherwise. It's either, use animals, or use humans. Because of so many laws that protect the human being, there is a lot to follow up if complication result from human testing, potential leading to huge lawsuits, that is even if the human volunteer agreed to it in the first place and was also going to get paid... The effects and consequences are potential worse for a human if things go wrong, they still have to live with whatever negative effects there are, like half your head melted off or something (only joking, hope no-one goes through that...) but with animals, they would just arrange for it to be put down... It's sad, and very wrong, I love animals too, but it is also a case of animals Vs. humans, plus, what they should really do is experiment in a more humane way, so that the animals suffers as little as possible. But if it was like that, then they might as well use humans...it's a vicious circle.
