When I am sick I become so weak that I stay on bed the whole day.....even if I wake up it is just to go to toilet, to eat or to take my medicines. After one or two days I come out of the bed but I sit on the sofa, a comfortable place where I can lie. Last time I was sick I stayed on bed for one week. I was off the bed just to watch TV. My sister was doing all the household chores. what about you?

If I'm really, really sick, I will definitely stay in my apartment all day, or at least for most of it. Whether I stay in bed or not might depend on exactly how I'm feeling, if there are things that I need to get done, and things like that. Usually, though, I don't stay in bed all day.

Hi there Velentina!
When I am really sick I try to have a full bed rest so that I will be able to get well sooner and that I will be recharged and have renewed energy the day after. As much as I can, I avoid doing that though. Only when I feel really week and there's something that I need to do in the next days to come that I can't afford to be sick.

When I am sick with a heavy headache, I take a capsule and would like to stay in bed to sleep for a few hours for the headache to be gone. If I don't go to sleep with a capsule, my headache would not get recovered so soon. So to sleep for a few hours is helpful to me. But anyway I don't have to sleep the whole day. Take care,

nope.i dont stay on bed the whole day.i just cant.still got to do house work and all sort of things.when i was in school or college i still come to the class even i get cold, fever or headache.i will feel regret if i was absent from class.by the way i do believe if you are sweating by doing activities it will help you recover faster.

It depends how ill you are, generally, if you can't get out of bed or if you need to go to stay in bed, it's likely because you need the rest and it's your body's way of telling you that it's need to recover. So do try to stay in bed if it calls for it. :) xx
