I love the festivities here in the Philippines during christmas. We celebrate the longest Christmas holiday in the world from December 16(start of dawn mass which runs dor nine days) up to January 2.

for me here in canada, i would have to say Christmas because we are shut down at work the week between Christmas and New Years and Thanksgiving.

I consider my birthday my own personal holiday. so my birthday is my favorite holiday.

i live in india....here in india there are a lot of festivals are there.....you will get atleast 2 festivals per month if you are from hindu religion....i am a hindu....so my family celebrates every festival per month and we gets holiday on each festival.....but the biggest festival in india for hundus is diwali.....it is festival of lights....we decorate our house by lightning it....we just go to my grandpa's house where my mom and aunts makes various dishes and snacks .......diwali comes in november.....and it is a festival of 4-5 days ...but government declares holidays of 15 days for that...so there is fun with relatives in diwali...so this is my favorite holiday of diwali...because it is 15 days long and at that time there is winter in india so weather is cold.......

I just love christmas holidays too.. its the season of love and giving.. a time for forgiving and reconciliation...the sales doubles during this time..
