How and What to feel if you dont get any response from your topic discussion?

It is really a satisfying experienced when a lot of people responds and participate to the topic discussion that you have posted. The feeling is somehow overwhelming. However, what if the topic you have raised for discussion got a zero response. Would you ignore and just create a new topic for discussion? Or you would feel upset and rest for a while since your topic was not answered.

I have to say, I do feel disappointed when a discussion of mine gets no responses, but I don't stop. I just keep replying to and making up more discussions, because that's what makes myLot fun for me. There's a bit of disappointment in it sometimes, but that's life. You just have to keep going.

Good day to you SilverFerret, What you have shown is a great acceptance. In life, there are times, you must accept it and just keep going on to the next. Anyway, that is just a usual attitude, it is normal to be dissapointed but the important part is to go on and keep going.

Ofcourse everyone feels somewhat bad about it if your discussion doesn't get any response. Luckily it hasn't happened to me as yet. But there can be different reasons and situations for not getting many or any responses to your discussions. Like there are many interests here that dont have many members so ofcourse the fewer the members the leeser the replies. Just take for example the games interest here on Mylot or even Blogging interest, there aren't too many replies made in these interests even though you might be talking about the biggest and most popular of games or blogs which would otherwise get huge number of replies at some other forums etc. So it all depends what you are talking about and where you are talking about it and even how you are talking about it lol

I would feel disappointed a little, especially when I do have to think about that I want to say, as coming up with good topics is hard for me. So far though, I haven't had to deal with zero responses. I am so glad abut that. I think though it it happened, I would have to think about what kind of topic I posted that didn't get any interest and not post one like that again. The thing of it is, what I might feel is interesting to me won't be interesting ot others. It is hard to know sometimes when you post a discussion if it is going to be one that others want to respond to. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.
